Missouri uses the state outline, as seen in the right picture, which I took along the old route in 2002.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/squareMOshields.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1042\" title=\"squareMOshields\" src=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/squareMOshields.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"171\" height=\"239\" \/> <\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/regMOshields.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1043\" title=\"regMOshields\" src=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/regMOshields.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"134\" height=\"180\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Did MoDOT run out of blanks? Was this a contractor&#8217;s work?
