Coin is one of five tiny towns that formed the South Page Community School District in 1959.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>At its January board meeting, the South Page school district \u2014 the 10th-smallest in Iowa \u2014 voted unanimously to end its independent athletics programs, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kmaland.com\/news\/south-page-board-votes-to-end-rebels-athletics\/article_c1431bb6-1a83-11e9-8f7a-17ff2604ac35.html\">KMA reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The district along the Missouri state line is two-thirds of what it was 15 years ago and has been hovering around the 200-student mark. The KMA story says it was down to girls&#8217; basketball, volleyball, and boys&#8217; and girls&#8217; track.
