Included near the recreation area is a ground-mounted map of Iowa with the Lincoln Highway represented as a raised line across the state.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>2017 was full of Lincoln Highway stuff for me. In three different trips I got in touch with at least part of the historic highway in five states \u2014 Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, and Indiana \u2014 from west of Laramie to the Ideal Section just across the Illinois-Indiana line. Recapping the western part of that: <a href=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/blog\/2017\/04\/great-plains-trip-day-3\/\">Great Plains Day 3<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/blog\/2017\/04\/great-plains-trip-day-4\/\">Great Plains Day 4<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/blog\/2017\/05\/great-plains-trip-day-5\/\">Great Plains Day 5<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/blog\/2017\/05\/great-plains-trip-day-6\/\">Great Plains Day 6<\/a>.
