His starting point was a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2020\/04\/01\/sports\/basketball\/first-woman-drafted-in-nba-avoids-coronavirus-but-not-its-frustrations.html\">recent <em>New York Times<\/em> story<\/a> about Denise (Long) Rife. Most of the post looks into her Union-Whitten uniforms in 1968 and 1969, but then starts looking at what the <em>other<\/em> girls were wearing, which was very varied.<\/p>\n<p>This may have been Lukas&#8217; first encounter with six-on-six, as he dubbed the video of the 1968 championship game &#8220;interesting!&#8221;.
