Photo credit: Laurie Yocumk<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The three-story Zearing school building is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.colonesco.org\/demolition-of-3-story-zearing-elementary-building\/\">being torn down this summer<\/a>, leaving only the surrounding Colo-NESCO Elementary. (h\/t Zac Abrams)<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.colonesco.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/24144-Notice-to-Bidders-Colo-Nesco-CSD-Elem-Demo-01725965x7F7E1.pdf\">this notice to bidders<\/a>, demolition is to be done by October 9.<\/p>\n<p>A bond vote that included demolition <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amestrib.com\/news\/20170913\/colo-nesco-bond-issue-fails\">failed in October 2017<\/a>\u00a0but a new one passed March 3.
