{"id":12710,"date":"2021-02-05T10:00:15","date_gmt":"2021-02-05T16:00:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/blog\/?p=12710"},"modified":"2021-02-02T00:01:23","modified_gmt":"2021-02-02T06:01:23","slug":"hawarden-business-corner-gets-new-tenant-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/blog\/2021\/02\/hawarden-business-corner-gets-new-tenant-again\/","title":{"rendered":"Hawarden business corner gets new tenant, again"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/ends\/Fall15\/0930\/10_12_sb.jpg\" width=\"615\" height=\"310\" \/><br \/>\n<em><strong>September 30, 2015:<\/strong> The building discussed below.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The building that once housed a Kum &amp; Go at the <a href=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/ends\/ia12.html\">southeast corner of IA 10 and IA 12<\/a> in Hawarden is going away for a new property.<\/p>\n<p>Sometime after my 2015 visit, Big Sioux Embroidery moved into the Kum &amp; Go building, even using the same elliptical sign.\u00a0The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nwestiowa.com\/independent\/hawarden-businesses-collaborate-for-growth\/article_c31dc144-5cfc-11eb-a014-bf8099aeeec5.html\"><em>N&#8217;West Iowa Review\u00a0<\/em>reports<\/a>\u00a0that Peoples Bank and Peoples Insurance will have a new building there in March 2022.<\/p>\n<p>This is an out of the way report, but I thought it was interesting, since I&#8217;ve photographed the corner in question three times.
