{"id":12747,"date":"2021-02-17T10:00:08","date_gmt":"2021-02-17T16:00:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/blog\/?p=12747"},"modified":"2021-02-14T15:07:21","modified_gmt":"2021-02-14T21:07:21","slug":"is-ia-32-still-around","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/blog\/2021\/02\/is-ia-32-still-around\/","title":{"rendered":"Is IA 32 still around?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/ends\/LabDay08\/20_32_eb.jpg\" width=\"420\" height=\"230\" \/><br \/>\n<em><strong>September 2, 2008:<\/strong> As of 2012, the south end of IA 32 in Dubuque is\/was US 20&#8217;s only at-grade intersection with a signed state route east of IA 110 in Sac County.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I figure this is worth an attempt at crowdsourcing.<\/p>\n<p>Completion of the Southwest Arterial was suppose to trigger the transfer of jurisdiction of highways in Dubuque \u2014 the surface streets for US 52\/IA 3 heading northwest from downtown and also the Northwest Arterial, aka IA 32.<\/p>\n<p>A few months later, street signs were still up, although they have since been greened-out on the US 61\/151 exit signs. The Iowa DOT was also a bit busy with replacing signs all over the state that had been flattened\/snapped by the derecho.<\/p>\n<p>If anyone has been in the Dubuque area in the past few months, are the signs on the arterial, and also Central\/White streets, still up?
