It was supposed to be done in 2018 but didn&#8217;t get formalized.<\/p>\n<p>Officially, H45 has run along Forbes Street, as can be seen in <a href=\"https:\/\/iowadot.gov\/maps\/msp\/citypdf\/ARISPE-ci.pdf\">this DOT city map<\/a>. Moving it to Dutcher Street, a block south, would straighten the route. It&#8217;s not necessarily a change that will appear in the field, since <a href=\"https:\/\/iowadot.gov\/maps\/msp\/pdf\/union-co.pdf\">H45 is nearly all gravel<\/a> except for a few miles of &#8220;blacktop&#8221; in the Arispe area and the town&#8217;s streets are blacktop and gravel.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe it would cause Google to go through town and update the one old set of images and do more than one street, but I doubt it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Union County and the town of Arispe are &#8220;exchanging responsibilities for certain streets,&#8221; reports the Creston News Advertiser.
