The work is expected to last about three months.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.news.iowadot.gov\/newsandinfo\/2023\/04\/construction-work-on-us-30-west-of-i-380-in-cedar-rapids-may-slow-you-down-starting-april-10.html\">DOT press release about it<\/a> seems much more &#8230; chattier? &#8230; than the usual nuts-and-bolts stuff. The on-ramp from 6th Street SW to westbound 30 will be closed, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.news.iowadot.gov\/files\/us-30-cedar-rapids.pdf\">linked detour map<\/a>\u00a0is of the type that customarily appears in the project lettings.
