That&#8217;s not necessarily an obvious answer, since the 1997 series jumped from N to P. With the <a href=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/blog\/2012\/08\/there-was-an-announcement-on-slashed-zeroes\/\">slashed-zero mandatory<\/a>, O may be palatable this time. We&#8217;ll find out soon enough.<\/p>\n<p>Also, let the record show that Minnesota has copied Iowa on the blackout plates. The North Star State <a href=\"https:\/\/www.keyc.com\/2023\/12\/27\/minnesota-implement-new-blackout-plates-january\/\">will be doing the same deal as Iowa<\/a>, offering the white-on-black as a custom option.<\/p>\n<p>(But maybe we can&#8217;t call it the North Star, or more accurately and Frenchly, <em>L&#8217;etoile du Nord<\/em>, anymore.
