(Note that <em>incorporation<\/em> is different from <em>founding<\/em>.)<\/p>\n<p>This week, the city is <a href=\"https:\/\/cedar-rapids.org\/175\/index.php\">marking its 175th birthday<\/a> with a ceremony and a time capsule. The city&#8217;s magazine had a special edition in November filled with exploration and a timeline of the city.
