I&#8217;ve never had interest in the gratuitous, uh, <em>everything<\/em> about him. But <a href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/entertainment-arts\/movies\/story\/2024-07-23\/deadpool-wolverine-review-ryan-reynolds-hugh-jackman-emma-corrin-marvel\">movie reviewer Katie Walsh says this<\/a> about &#8220;Deadpool and Wolverine&#8221; &#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">It\u2019s a unique script, composed almost exclusively of quips, references, fourth-wall breaking, celebrity gossip, Hollywood inside baseball, jabs at other film studios, ironically retro needle drops and detritus scraped from mid-aughts movie message boards. Plot? Nonsensical. Characters? Thin. Motivation? Eh. But get a load of these cameos. It feels like \u201cInternet: The Movie,\u201d but an internet occupied only by Gen X and elder millennial power posters.<\/p>\n<p>&#8230; and I almost think Ryan Reynolds et al made this movie with me in mind (<a href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/blake-lively-deadpool-and-wolverine-millennial-references-8681884\">and also his wife<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>After all, &#8220;elder millennial power poster&#8221; is a job I&#8217;ve had for a while.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I, as they say, &#8220;nothing&#8221; the comic book character Deadpool.
