Like is so often the case as we reach this level, we have a bunch of public-private matchups.<\/p>\n<p>Most important for this blog is North Tama vs. <del>Waterloo<\/del> Cedar Ridge Christian at Waterloo West High School. The others:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BCLUW vs. Ankeny Christian in Nevada<\/li>\n<li>Fort Madison Holy Trinity vs. Dunkerton in West Liberty<\/li>\n<li>Sidney vs. Remsen St. Mary&#8217;s in Mapleton<\/li>\n<li>East Mills vs. Council Bluffs St. Albert in Glenwood<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The NON public-private sets:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>St. Ansgar vs. Coon Rapids-Bayard in Algona<\/li>\n<li>Janesville vs. IKM-Manning in Fort Dodge<\/li>\n<li>and the most interesting one, Gladbrook-Reinbeck vs. Springville in Van Horne, which so many years could be a state semifinal or final.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Two of these, believe it or not, may have electoral implications: Both Gladbrook-Reinbeck and IKM-Manning have bond referendums on the ballot next Tuesday.
