I was right.<\/p>\n<p>Despite being in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ighsau.org\/IGHSAUwebsite\/121asbregional.html\">Class 1A for softball<\/a> this summer, North Tama is now one of the smallest Class 2A volleyball schools. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ighsau.org\/volleyball\/2012\/12vbclasses.htm\">The full BEDS list is here.<\/a> North Tama is seven students above the cutoff.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ighsau.org\/IGHSAUwebsite\/122avbregional.html\">The first opponent in the postseason?<\/a> Hudson, which had grown too large for play against NT a while ago. On the boys&#8217; side, <a href=\"http:\/\/iowaprepsports.com\/2012\/10\/01\/ap-football-poll-sept-4\/\">the football team is doing quite well this year in Class A.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The makeup of each sport&#8217;s class can vary based on what programs are sharing. It will be interesting to see if the girls&#8217; class split stands for basketball season as well, in which case it&#8217;s a good thing the girls got to the state tournament last year.
