The closest it has been was 2004, when the overnight town was Waukee and riders left on R30 to Granger, which skirts the far far western parts of Clive and Urbandale but shouldn&#8217;t really count as visiting those suburbs.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li>It will also be the first time passing through Van Meter, Booneville, Fremont and Birmingham \u2014 and the first trip through Minburn since SAGBRAI in 1974.<\/li>\n<li>IA 1 between Fairfield and Keosauqua has never been part of the route. Same goes for T17 between Pella and old IA 92, and the Cedar-Fremont-Hedrick route.<\/li>\n<li>IA 44 between Kimballton and Guthrie Center hasn&#8217;t been used since 1983.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Available as a PDF from the Register&#8217;s web site.
