If you couldn&#8217;t afford the toll, they would be willing to take other items \u2014 even a Christmas tree \u2014 and would give them back if the driver returned to pay.<\/p>\n<p>Starting today, that won&#8217;t be possible, because vehicles will no longer stop. All tolling will be electronic.
