I don&#8217;t know what caused it \u2014 RAGBRAI, the calendar, or a late start \u2014 but it has always seemed that the tournament never went into August. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sportsspotlight.com\/high-school.cfm\/Article\/High-School\/2012-State-Baseball-Tournament-Results\/2012-7-29\/42\">Last year the finals were the 28th.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The semifinals start today. Only Class 4A doesn&#8217;t have a private school among the \u00a0remaining teams.
