A loss to Wapsie Valley the next week kept a 7-2 NT team out of the Class 1A playoffs that year.<\/p>\n<p>The next year, Hudson was promoted to Class 2A, and a three-decade series from the North Iowa Cedar League was gone.<\/p>\n<p>Next fall, the bordering school districts will play each other in football for the first time since that game 17 (!!) years ago.
