I was going to make a composite map with the June 30 track, but this one is embedded in a PDF with a different mapping service so it will take some work.<\/p>\n<p>The up-close storm chaser&#8217;s footage was wrapped into larger weather pieces yesterday on both <a href=\"http:\/\/www.today.com\/video\/today\/55591163\">Today<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/GMA\/video\/extreme-weather-floods-thunder-storms-tornados-hammer-us-24448250?tab=9482931&amp;section=1206833\">Good Morning America<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Waterloo Courier<\/em> used last week&#8217;s tornado as the main basis for an <a href=\"http:\/\/wcfcourier.com\/news\/opinion\/editorial\/time-after-time-iowans-prove-their-mettle\/article_79714dd5-022d-55d8-a9c3-fe4d6617c5a9.html\">Iowans-are-awesome editorial<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>*With one being June 30 and the other being July 6, we at least have that to differentiate the Traer tornadoes in the future, and worry less about &#8220;no, not that one, the other one&#8221;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The National Weather Service makes quick work of storm damage surveys.
