The building, not including the gym, is only 20 years old, so it&#8217;s good to be reused. The <em>Sioux City Journal<\/em> has another <a href=\"http:\/\/siouxcityjournal.com\/special-section\/siouxland_life\/home\/one-man-s-vision-turns-sutherland-school-into-place-for\/article_892d3025-932e-568c-addf-566d7f7c8abf.html\">success story in Sutherland<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Then, the bad news: The century-old building in Corwith <a href=\"http:\/\/www.desmoinesregister.com\/story\/news\/education\/lost-schools\/2014\/11\/22\/lost-schools-corwith\/19360983\/\">is not likely to be as lucky<\/a>. The building in Wesley was sold a while ago, but one CWL board member quoted in the <em>Register<\/em> article regrets not demolishing that one.<\/p>\n<p>The piece I wrote in April 2013, &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/maps\/kossuth\/kossuth.html\">Kossuth County Area Schools and Rural Iowa&#8217;s Population Collapse<\/a>&#8220;, still captures the situation pretty well.
