Linn County had it taken down at the end of 2015.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/blog\/2015\/03\/bridge-on-linn-lincoln-loop-to-be-replaced\/\">As previously noted,<\/a>\u00a0a classic truss bridge in Linn County that is on the gravel Lincoln Highway loop through Marion but not old enough to officially\u00a0qualify for being on the Lincoln Highway was doomed earlier this year when the supervisors voted to replace it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thegazette.com\/subject\/news\/government\/bloomington-road-bridge-taken-down-after-90-years-20151204\">The bridge was demolished last week.<\/a> A basic concrete span will be built next year in its place.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>August 24, 2013:\u00a0The Bloomington Road bridge over Big Creek in Linn County is part of the Lincoln Highway loop route through Marion.
