Now, there are these cluster boxes outside, which often signal the town&#8217;s post office is gone for good, but the letters are still on the building clear as day and the post office has hours <a href=\"https:\/\/tools.usps.com\/go\/POLocatorDetailsAction!input.action?address=eau+claire+wi&amp;radius=20&amp;locationType=po&amp;locationID=1386072&amp;locationName=VOLGA&amp;address2=&amp;address1=501+WASHINGTON+ST&amp;city=VOLGA&amp;state=IA&amp;zip5=52077&amp;zip4=7722&amp;tollFree=800-ASK-USPS%26reg%3B%26nbsp%3B%28800-275-8777%29&amp;latitude=42.803101&amp;longitude=-91.541029\">listed on the USPS site<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Here are the towns in Iowa that I first set wheel in this year.<\/p>\n<p>* = City limits are <em>on<\/em> the highway, so it&#8217;s not <em>strictly<\/em> the first time, but this time I went into town.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>April 13:<\/strong> Richland*, Floris, Chillicothe, Hamilton*, Bussey<\/li>\n<li><strong>April 17:<\/strong> Fraser**, Berkley, Yale, Sheldahl, Cambridge<\/li>\n<li><strong>July 10:<\/strong> Morley, Welton, Low Moor<\/li>\n<li><strong>July 25:<\/strong> Westgate, Randalia, Hawkeye, St. Lucas, Protivin<\/li>\n<li><strong>July 26:<\/strong> Joice, Fertile<\/li>\n<li><strong>August 2:<\/strong> Earlham<\/li>\n<li><strong>August 8:<\/strong> Ricketts, Kiron*, Breda, Yetter, Lidderdale, Kelley<\/li>\n<li><strong>August 16:<\/strong> Woodburn, Benton*, Sharpsburg*, Nodaway, Carbon<\/li>\n<li><strong>August 17:<\/strong> Valeria<\/li>\n<li><strong>August 26:<\/strong> Alburnett<\/li>\n<li><strong>September 26:<\/strong> Prairieburg, Lamont*, Wadena, Volga, Dundee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>**The Boone and Scenic Valley Railroad goes to Fraser, but this was the first time either by car or in the 21st century.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s a sizable list, covering 32 new cities and 7 more-extensive visits in 23 counties.
