{"id":8274,"date":"2017-01-18T10:00:49","date_gmt":"2017-01-18T16:00:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/blog\/?p=8274"},"modified":"2017-01-18T01:39:57","modified_gmt":"2017-01-18T07:39:57","slug":"cal-losing-junior-high-high-school","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/blog\/2017\/01\/cal-losing-junior-high-high-school\/","title":{"rendered":"CAL losing junior high, high school"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Coulter-Alexander-Latimer school district, hammered by the population decline affecting nearly all of rural Iowa and the end of a sharing agreement with Dows a decade ago, is unable to hold on to its independence.<\/p>\n<p>CAL will send grades 7-12 to Hampton-Dumont in fall 2018, <a href=\"http:\/\/globegazette.com\/news\/local\/cal-hampton-dumont-to-begin-whole-grade-sharing-in\/article_0f8692fa-acd5-59e5-b861-87b228150235.html\">the <em>Mason City Globe-Gazette<\/em> reports<\/a>.
