At the stroke of midnight on New Year&#8217;s Day, KCCI and other Hearst stations <a href=\"http:\/\/www.desmoinesregister.com\/story\/news\/2017\/01\/01\/satellite-customers-lose-kcci-2017\/96058108\/\">were pulled from DirecTV<\/a> and not restored <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fiercecable.com\/cable\/at-t-reaches-retrans-deal-hearst-ends-weeklong-blackout-26-stations\">for about a week<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Now, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kcci.com\/article\/notice-to-dish-network-subscribers\/8976528\">the dispute is with Dish<\/a>, and KCCI could be pulled off that satellite provider tonight.<\/p>\n<p>Iowa had gone for a little while without any stations actually being dropped, but this pair of problems returns us back to the &#8220;new normal&#8221; tug-of-war, I guess.
