The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.northunion.k12.ia.us\/vnews\/display.v\/ART\/526e6ca9a711a\">North Union School Board page<\/a> hasn&#8217;t been updated with minutes\/agendas for THREE YEARS. A\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/kilrradio.com\/pages\/north-union-north-kossuth-boards-to-consider-approval-of-consoli\">radio station link<\/a> whose headline says the same is already 404&#8217;d but the Google cached version from June 13 says the North Union and North Kossuth boards were going to approve a reorganization petition.<\/p>\n<p>The two districts \u2014 formerly three, as Armstrong-Ringsted and Sentral \u2014 have been whole-grade-sharing for a while. I extensively covered the population and consolidation issues of the area <a href=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/maps\/kossuth\/kossuth.html\">four years ago<\/a>. Save for the NON-merger of LuVerne with Algona as Corwith-Wesley dissolved (LuVerne is sending 7-12 to Algona, though), it holds up.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At least, that&#8217;s what I get from the headline-only item from the area weeklies.
