He was involved on the state&#8217;s behalf in the recent cases of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nonpareilonline.com\/news\/local\/historic-vote-by-state-sets-stage-to-dissolve-farragut-schools\/article_6b89bff0-c363-53b6-95fb-2a514949b314.html?mode=story\">Farragut school district&#8217;s forced dissolution<\/a> and Gladbrook-Reinbeck&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.conradrecord.com\/content\/emotions-opinions-shared-g-r-dissolution-meeting#sthash.0kr3Beq5.dpuf\">petition-triggered dissolution vote<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Last September he abruptly ended his work with the state (or at least the lack of details <a href=\"http:\/\/www.desmoinesregister.com\/story\/news\/education\/2016\/09\/26\/iowa-education-deputy-no-longer-agency\/91122522\/\">in the <em>Des Moines Register<\/em> article<\/a> makes it seem as such).<\/p>\n<p>Now he&#8217;s resurfaced on a one-year contract <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tamatoledonews.com\/page\/content.detail\/id\/604563\/Berger-takes-the-reins--of-South-Tama-schools.html?nav=5017\">as South Tama&#8217;s superintendent<\/a>, according to the <em>Toledo Chronicle\/Tama News-Herald<\/em> website.
