Louisiana&#8217;s state capitol building, a Depression-era Art Deco skyscraper, is deeply entwined with the history of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.exploresouthernhistory.com\/louisianacapitol.html\">one of its most colorful politicians<\/a>, Huey Long. (Have I covered my fondness for Art Deco?)<\/p>\n<p>Some of the pictures I took in the capitol suffered from low light, including the milestone photo, cropped below.
