Here is the shield gallery. These shields do NOT link to any pages. For pages go to the INDEX page. Decommissioned regular highways are grayed out. All spurs (except for 98) have been decommissioned, so treat those as all being in gray too. For US highways, Series C is the narrow font and Series D is the wider font. US 6 shields are all Series D except for some even wider Series E on I-80 and one Series C on eastbound 6 at I-35/80. Only three US 63 and two US 218 shields in Iowa are Series D; US 151 shields on BGSs are usually Series D. However, since those are BGSs and not shields they don't count. One US 69 Series D shield has been found, southbound in Ankeny; one regular US 77 shield has been found, near its interchange in Sioux City. The I-129 shield is off a BGS because there is only one shield in Iowa, its "End" sign.
