(If, that is, the phrasing <i>wasn&#8217;t<\/i> supposed to be a tell.)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorker.com\/news\/our-columnists\/translating-the-americans-and-seeing-a-mirror-of-my-own-american-experience\">From the <em>New Yorker<\/em><\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><em>I tried to make the Russian dialogue free of such anachronisms.
