Middletown prettied up the intersection with a welcome sign.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>For the first time in (gulp) more than a decade, I&#8217;ve augmented a handful of end pages in southeast Iowa.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/ends\/ia68.html\">IA 68<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/ends\/ia97.html\">IA 97<\/a> are twins in a lot of ways, and my second ever trips to Melrose and Russell carry on that pairing.<\/li>\n<li>More information and new photos for <a href=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/ends\/ia405.html\">IA 405<\/a>, which from 1980 to 2003 was the shortest signed state highway, but went a little farther south before then.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/ends\/ia406.html\">IA 406<\/a> gets a couple more shots from the US 61 endpoint.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/ends\/ia305.html\">IA 305<\/a> gets a digital photo of its west endpoint, along with an update about the US 61 expressway on its east. (This my second time to Letts. It was pretty empty.)<\/li>\n<li>Updated photo for <a href=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/ends\/ia213.html\">IA 213 <\/a>in Blakesburg, which has been confirmed to use one east-west block.<\/li>\n<li>Updated photos for <a href=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/ends\/ia79.html\">IA 79<\/a> in Middletown, showing the revision to J20 at Old US 34.<\/li>\n<li>One more go-round for the <a href=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/ends\/ia78.html\">east end of IA 78<\/a> before the US 61 four-lane is built in the next decade. I also had to update the information about Sterzing&#8217;s potato chips.<\/li>\n<li>New photos for the east end of <a href=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/ends\/usbus34f.html\">Business US 34 (Fairfield)<\/a>, which has no &#8220;End&#8221; sign but still square IA 163 shields.<\/li>\n<li>Elsewhere, I put some new photos with <a href=\"http:\/\/iowahighwayends.net\/ends\/ia51.html\">IA 51<\/a>.
