The announcement also says the newspaper will be dropping Associated Press coverage and going all-local.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/carrollspaper.com\/MobileContent\/About-Us\/Staff-Directory\/Article\/Newspaper-s-History\/8\/31\/10573\">newspaper&#8217;s history page<\/a> says it&#8217;s been a daily since November 7, 1929.\u00a0Six months ago, 28-year-old\u00a0Rebecca McKinsey was <a href=\"http:\/\/carrollspaper.com\/Content\/Local-News-Archive\/Local-News\/Article\/McKinsey-promoted-to-editor-Devine-named-executive-editor\/1\/1\/27082\">named the paper&#8217;s editor<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As of this week, Iowa has one fewer daily newspaper.
