I double-checked through the <em>Mason City Globe Gazette<\/em> archives, and the reader was right. M-T formed in 1962.<\/p>\n<p>The thing is, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westforkschool.org\/page\/district-history\">the website for West Fork<\/a>, the descendant of SCMT and Rockwell-Swaledale, <em>also<\/em> has the incorrect year, and doesn&#8217;t have any year for R-S.
