The road is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kwwl.com\/news\/waterloo\/waterloo-city-council-to-decide-on-contract-for-san-marnan-construction-project\/video_3f5cbd16-c7c0-5747-a33d-e845f614182c.html\">going to be rebuilt this year<\/a>, and much of the underlying road likely is original to state construction 65 years ago.<\/p>\n<p>The project is in three stages that go west from IA 21 nearly to Ansborough Avenue. Most of the time the intersection with Kimball Avenue will be open.
