The trip comes a year after the girls did the same thing. The Redhawks beat Iowa Mennonite, which has been to state a dozen times, in their second game in as many days.<\/p>\n<p>North Tama will be the 3 seed in the tournament, according to a tweet from the <em>Marshalltown Times-Republican<\/em>, and play the last 1A game of the first round March 4.<\/p>\n<p>Besides the aforementioned basketball milestones, the football team won the school&#8217;s first boys&#8217; state championship in 2010 and last year the baseball team made the state tournament for the first time since it moved to Des Moines.<\/p>\n<p>Also Saturday, the Iowa State men won by 20, the Iowa State women won by 19, and <a href=\"http:\/\/thegazette.com\/2013\/02\/23\/iowa-blows-19-point-lead-ncaa-hopes-at-nebraska\/\">this happened<\/a>.
