World's Tallest Man-Made Land-Based Structure, the KVLY-TV tower, 2063 feet. At least, it was, until Sept. 2, 2008, when the Burj Dubai surpassed it. Add it to the Sears and CN Towers, which I also visited when they were the world's tallest in their respective categories.
