Uh oh...where did those clouds come from? The sky grew darker as we went west on WI 100 and then south on US 45.

We (mostly) missed the rain hightailing it south on US 45, then back to the Culver's at the WI 165 interchange.

The little chunk I added of US 20 on this trip gave me 50% of the route in Illinois.

While this was the end of the day for many, I closed out the night at Navy Pier.

Clouds approach again. There was a little confusion as to whether the US 34 bridge into Iowa was open - it was at the time,
but would be closed less than 24 hours later.
