(January 8, 1931-July 1, 2003)
NORTH End: Stoplight, IA 175/Edgington Ave., Eldora
Facing north on 215
This "175" appears to have no point, because the double arrow is across the street and the "Jct" sign is about a block south of this photo (see below).

The pole on the left holds both the signs for westbound 175 and the 175 with double arrow for 215. According to Iowa DOT construction records, IA 175 through Eldora had the oldest still-existing state highway pavement in Iowa circa 2006. From mile point 187.15 to 187.60, 1921 was the only year given, implying that the 8-inch-thick concrete has not been resurfaced since. A 2012 construction project likely overlaid/removed this concrete.

Highway 215's last block is along the side of the Hardin County courthouse, just as 127 runs along the side of the Harrison County courthouse.

The Iowa River Greenbelt Scenic Drive begins in front of the courthouse, right near the intersection. The 215/175 sign for westbound 175 is in the bottom right of the right picture.
SOUTH End: 2nd St., Union, Hardin County
Facing east, but heading south, on 215
Union Auto is in a building that has been a dealership for a long time. Model T, anyone?
Facing west, but heading north, on 215
This picture is taken from the same spot as the above two, with 215's turn sign highlighted in gray.
Facing south on 215
Straight ahead is S62 and the intersecting road is D65; instead of 215 ending here, it goes east a block (see above). A couple blocks to the right (west) is the junior high for BCLUW (Beaman-Conrad-Liscomb-Union-Whitten).
Facing east on D65
The red pickup would be coming down on 215, and then straight ahead into the business district (including city hall, below) were the last blocks of 215.
