A few blocks south of 151's end, US 10 runs right up to a ferry across Lake Michigan. This sign set, including a rare state-name I-43 shield, is for westbound travelers who have just entered Wisconsin. When Wisconsin replaced it with a single-panel, it made a mistake, placing a sign for the Lake Superior Circle Tour instead of Lake Michigan. (8/10/07 and 9/14/15)
First mileage sign on 151, west of I-43 leaving Manitowoc (8/10/07)
Today, there are only three segments of US 151 that are NOT four-lane expressways or freeways: Between Manitowoc and Fond du Lac, through Madison, and from the southwest side of Cedar Rapids to its south end.
Along the route
Madison, Wisconsin: Interchange with I-39/90/94 (8/9/07)
Even as a relatively short route, 151 intersects six different interstates: I-43, then I-39/90/94 simultaneously, then I-380, and finally I-80.
Dickeyville, Wisconsin: One panel, three highways, one scenic route (8/10/07)
Cedar Rapids, Iowa: A whole mess of signs approaching a wrong-way triplex (11/28/03)
SOUTH End: I-80 exit 225, Iowa County IA
