On the way to Nebraska again.

Standalone shield on mainline I-80 for the exit.

Facing south at the beginning of I-180 in Lincoln.

The Intersection of the Beast.

West end of NE-IA 370.

Now on the other side of Iowa, in Dubuque.

History including US 20's first bridge crossing the Mississippi River.

Very rare state-name Wisconsin I-90 shield.

Ultra-rare no-background standalone I-39 shield. I-39 is not co-signed with US 51 or any interstate for 8 miles between the I-90/94 split and north of Portage.

Elapsed time to Wausau: About an hour and a half.

The home of the Packers.

Another Lombardi Trophy has joined these triplets since I visited.

Rare state-name Wisconsin I-43 shield

North end of US 151, downtown Manitowoc.

At the time, 151 had a short wrong-way duplex with US 41. When the final part opened, it de-clinched the route for me.

Deep cuts in southwest Wisconsin were needed to get US 151 four-laned between Dubuque and Madison.

Dual-signed county road west of Tipton

Cedar County Courthouse, Tipton, a decidedly different vintage than Marengo's.
