I forgot to reset the retransmission-fee-dispute counter after finding out that Dish Network dropped multiple stations covering parts of Iowa from its system on Aug. 29. They are the Quincy Newspapers stations, including KWWL, KTIV, and KTTC along with their subchannels.
In possibly related news, my most recent Mediacom bill announced that the “Local Broadcast Station Surcharge” is going up 43 cents, so I’ll be paying more than $12 a month to, in part, avoid having to get a new TV.
(Had post as draft, forgot to publish, but from what I can tell, dispute is still going. In the meantime, the Quincy Newspapers TV station websites were redesigned, and surprise, everything got worse.)
