Tama County’s smallest incorporated place has new welcome signs. A recent transplant to the town offered to paint custom signs for all three entrances. The North Tama Telegraph has the story and photos.
Yes, there are TWO tiny Tama County towns that make the “Next X Exits” joke, Lincoln being the other. Ironically there’s not one for Tama on US 30 because its two exits (US 63 and Business 30) list it on the main signs!
(Also, yes, the better term is signage, but that doesn’t rhyme, does it?)
