US 69 closed at Belmond for detour
Another sign of spring (despite what it actually feels like outside): A season-long closure of US 69 south of Belmond starts today to replace a bridge. It’s at least the fourth closure of the season so far.

Saylorville Mile-Long Bridge to close for construction
KCCI has the story. The closure will start at the end of March. Remember, that bridge wasn’t under state control until 2003, when IA 415 was rerouted.
